Bio

My name is Howard Hoover. I have experience as maintenance man of taking care of multiple homes, such as condos and apartments, fixing plumbing issues, electrical, drywall, and some HVAC repair. My work history includes over 10 years of building new buildings for residential and commercial construction all over Northern Utah. I have been in the inspecting business for over 4 years doing inspections with Vegas Inspect and over a year with the State of Nevada in the Manufactured Housing Division as an inspector for Commercial/ Office coaches and Manufactured/ Mobile homes.
I joined the Military in 2000 as an enlisted soldier in the engineering field and became a commissioned officer in the Engineer Corps. I now have over 20 years in the Army National Guard, with deployments to Iraq, Kuwait (2016) as well as building schools, B-huts, and Sea huts in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Germany and Australia.
I pay close attention to detail and can visualize plans of how things are supposed to work. I have a vast knowledge on structural engineering, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. I work well with others and I focus on the job to get it done right.
I have an Associate Degree in Art and Visual Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in integrated studies from Utah Valley University. I have a wife with three young kids, and I have been in Las Vegas since 2007. I like to camp, hike, and stop to draw in the scenery and be in the outdoors.
